I draw.
Ever since I was a kid I loved drawing. I studied architecture but perhaps I had to go to art school. In the end I ended up working on software development. Late 2015, after a walking trip from Alkmaar, The Netherlands, to New York City, I picked up a pack of printing paper, a marker and a fineliner to restart my carrier as an artist.
I try to find the challenge in my art. Whether it is reducing the amount of lines to make a minimal version of something or increasing the amount of lines for big gestures, lines are a constant aspect of my drawings.
